This is a handmade rustic Christmas sign, created using reclaimed wood. The reindeer and Christmas lettering "Twas The Night Before Christmas" artwork is "drawn with fire", or wood burned by hand. I lightly sand down the wood, leaving much of the natural patina created by the outdoor elements over time. Slight cracks and nail heads are left "as is" for added rustic texture. The beautiful brown color created with pyrography is a perfect complement to the reclaimed wood.
This sign has two beautiful textured loops of corrugated metal for the rope to tie to. Whether you hang the sign or just lean it on the fireplace mantle, you'll enjoy all the wonderful character of the different textures this sign holds.
