A Family Rules Sign makes a wonderful family heirloom! This rustic sign is completely handmade, using distressed reclaimed wood. I choose boards with different colors and tones to complement each other. I personally wood-burn all the lettering by hand. Each rule fits nicely on its own wood plank. The weathered wood is lightly sanded down. Leaving much of the natural patina created by the outdoor elements over time. Slight cracks & nail heads are left "as is" for added rustic texture. Each piece is unique, with a rustic weathered finish that can only be found when using reclaimed wood.
The color of boards varies from sign to sign, as this is the nature of working with reclaimed wood. Because of this, each family sign is totally unique! The planks are attached with canvas straps on the back. When your sign arrives you simply have to unroll it, hang it on a sturdy nail and enjoy.
