These are natural dried botanicals that look like red berries, but up close you'll see they are tiny acorns, a wonderful surprise! They are attached to a wood stem which you can leave as is or trim. You can also gently pull the acorns off the stem if you want to have them loose. I find the stem helpful to add support to your bowl filler centerpiece. They are a wonderful addition to the wooden bowl arrangements for fall or Christmas! You can create quick and easy table centerpieces in a wood dough bowl or a vintage wood box. Their gorgeous red color is pretty all on its own, or bundle them with your other earthy elements like hazelnuts and pine cones. Pair them up with some Christmas pine sprigs for a really pretty holiday display. Sprinkle them along your fireplace mantle and open shelving. I start adding these botanical beauties to my home decor in September, creating a pretty and rustic table centerpiece. They add warmth and wonderful autumn color right through Thanksgiving and of course the Christmas holidays. At the end of the season, just place them in a bag to store them for decorating the following year!
